How to Reset Password or Username for your HTS Account?

Assume you have registered as a customer with HTS Hosting, but you have forgotten your username and/or password and is unable to access your account. In such a case, you can use Forgot Password to recover your login information.

In order to get the Password reset email, you must first know your registered email ID.

 

Once you have provided us with your email ID, click on Submit.

It will then notified you that the Password Reset email has been delivered to your mailbox. Thus, it will look like the image shown below:

 

However, if the email address entered by you does not match with system, you will receive an error message.

Please note that such emails will usually arrive in your inbox within few minutes. However, the message may be tagged as spam due to some settings specified on your email service provider's end.

If you are unable to discover the Password Reset email in your inbox and are confident that your email address is valid, please check the Junk/Spam folders.

To begin the password reset process, open your password reset email and click on the link provided in the email.

Now, you will be directed to the screen, where you may create a new password.

 

Please enter a new password in the “New Password” and “Confirm New Password” fields and press the “Save changes” button

Also, it is advised not to enter the password you have already used previously.

Client security is our top-most priority, thus we recommend that you choose a password with at least 8 characters and no spaces at the beginning and end of the password.

We also advise to include the following in your password for better security:

·       An Uppercase letter such as A-Z

·       A Lowercase letter such as a-z

·       A special symbol, including but not limited to #, &, [, \, ^, ¢, §, «», %, etc.

·       One Number such as 0-9

When your password has been successfully updated, you will receive the following message:

 

Apart from this, if you forget the username of your HTS account, you can recover it with the help of your registered Email Id

Please keep in mind that any login credentials are sensitive information.
