The Terminate Accounts interface enables you to terminate multiple accounts simultaneously. Once you terminate an account, the system removes it completely from your server.
You need to be warned beforehand that you cannot undo account termination. Once you terminate an account, the data of that account gets permanently deleted from the server. This is done by the system.
The backups of the account must be removed manually, or the backups must
be moved to another server. This prevents an account collision, if a new
account is added with the username of a previous account’s user.

Terminate Accounts
The interface, Terminate Accounts, provides a table in
which all of the accounts of the server are listed.
You need to use
the text box, Search, and the
navigation controls in order to search for a particular account/accounts.
You should
click a column heading for sorting the table by that column.
You have to
select the Show only suspended accounts
checkbox in order to display only those accounts that have been suspended.
You must carry
out the below-mentioned steps in order to terminate an individual account.
- If you want to keep the DNS zone of a domain on your server, then you need to select the associated checkbox in the Keep DNS Zone column.
- Click Remove in the associated checkbox, in the row of that account.
- Click Yes, delete this account for the purpose of confirming that you want to remove the account.
If you want to
terminate multiple accounts from your server, you should follow the
below-mentioned steps.
- Select those checkboxes, which correspond to the accounts that you want to be removed.
If you want to
keep the DNS zone of a domain on your server, then you need to select the
associated checkbox in the Keep DNS Zone
column.
- Click Remove selected accounts.
- Click Yes, delete these accounts.
Keep the DNS Zones
Despite
terminating an account, it is possible for you to keep the zone file of the
domain in the DNS server. In order to keep the DNS zones for an account, which
you want to terminate, you need to select the associated checkbox in the Keep DNS Zone column.
